What we collect

Nothing. Coil does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics or tracking in the app.

What the app stores, and where

Everything you create is stored locally on your device, using on-device storage (IndexedDB). That covers logged sets (weight, reps, RPE), session records, benchmark times, and settings such as your program start date. This data:

• never leaves your device,
• is not sent to us or any third party,
• is not accessible to us in any form.

The training program content shown in the app is bundled with the app itself.

Network use

The app functions fully offline. It does not require a network connection and does not make requests to any server to collect or process your data.

This website

This site is separate from the app, and unlike the app it does collect something, so it is described separately. It runs analytics to count visits and see which pages get read. That records the page you are on, the site or search that sent you, and general details your browser reports, such as language, time zone and device type. It sets two cookies, which is how one visit gets counted once rather than many times.

None of that is tied to your name, none of it is sold or shared, and none of it is connected to anything in the app. The app is still separate and still collects nothing.

Data deletion

Because all data is on your device, you are in full control. Deleting the app removes all stored data. You can also clear the app’s data from iOS Settings.

Children’s privacy

The app is a general fitness tool and does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
